This web based solution is designed for smaller stores with approximately 2 to 10 transactions per day. All of the actual processing and fulfillment is done in the brick and mortar store with the web based store acting as a salesperson and order taker.

b. Each night the brick and mortar store's inventory is uploaded to the web store so new items and quantities are updated
c. An E-Mail notification is sent to you when you get a web store order
d. The credit card information is captured on a secure socket link site (SSL), the card information is verified but not actually processed
e. You log into the web store control panel and print off the orders and a pick list
f. From the brick and mortar store's POS system or from corporate headquarters the order is processed using the information from the order sheet for credit card information and customer information
g. The pick list is filled and items boxed then the POS receipt attached to the pick sheet, placed in the box with the order and it is sent out.

This web based solution is designed for medium sized stores or businesses with multiple locations, this solution is designed to handle activity in the range of 20 to 50 transactions per day. The web store is treated as a separate store with separate inventory from other brick & mortar stores. Transactions are processed at the web store level, with charges to customer credit cards made through an authorize.net merchant account provided by 4link.com. Orders are emailed to a designated address for fulfillment. The entire businesses database comprising all stores (both the brick & mortar ones and the web store are synchronized each night using the CRE Enterprise module over a VPN.

a. The web store maintains a complete POS database with its own store ID number, customers, inventory, departments etc. This more easily allows the web store to make different items available on-line and have different pricing for on-line purchases reflecting a lower overhead cost.
b. Customer information is maintained in the POS customer table and each night all stores customer data is synchronized using CRE Enterprise so that all customers from all stores have a web account. User passwords may be edited on line or at the brick and mortar stores.
c. Inventory is maintained and purchase orders made using the CRE Enterprise module or the on-line Management Console.
d. Customers credit card information is captured on a secure socket link SSL, the card information processed on-line through authorize.net with a confirmation returned to the cardholder that the charge was approved an a approval code assigned
e. An e-mail notification is sent to a designated address when the web store makes a sale, details are sent in the form of a pick list for fulfillment and shipping of the order
